AT INDIANAPOLIS Mrs. Mary A. Sinex, an Old Resident of This City, Dies at Home of Son. (Thursday's Daily) January 1, 1915 New Albany, IndianaMrs. Mary A. Sinex, widow of Brewer Sinex and an old resident of New Albany, died at 2:55 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, George A. Sinex, at Indianapolis, where she had been making her home for the past eighteen months. While she had been in failing health for several years, her condition was not serious until she suffered a stroke of paralysis a couple weeks ago, after which she sank rapidly until the end. Mrs. Sinex was born in this city October 1, 1841. She was a daughter of the late Charles C. Bowen. She is survived by three sons, George A. and Charles B. Sinex of Indianapolis, and Frank B. of Chicago; also a stepmother, Mrs. Mary S. Bowen, of Indianapolis, and two half sisters, Mrs. Walter Gaugh,of this city, and Mrs. William McMillan, of Indianapolis. Mrs. Sinex was a devoted mother, true Christian, and though quiet, modest and unassuming, she found her way into the hearts of all with whom she came in contact. She was a member of Centenary Church, from which place the funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
