JOSEPH SAMUEL PATTON

Joseph Samuel Patton, 77 years of age, died at his home near Scipio January 27, 1932.

Mr. Patton lived the greater part of his life in this county, having been born here, and spending a short time in Olney, Illinois, following his marriage in 1884 to Belle Waughtel.

He is survived by the widow, two sons, Frank of Indianapolis, and Chauncey of Columbus; three daughters, Stella Callon of Cincinnati, Edith Unrue and Ruth Green of Scipio; one grandson, Joseph Unrue and one granddaughter, Dorothy Green; two uncles, Elmer Herron of Cincinnati and Joseph Herron of Noblesville, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Scipio Saturday morning conducted by Rev. Andrews assisted by Rev. DeHart.

Burial took place in the Garland Brook cemetery at Columbus.
