Herb Miller

Visitation for Herb G. Miller, 85, will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North.  Service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.

 

Mr. Miller, who died Friday, was born in Puyallup, Wash.

 

He served as an ambulance driver for an Army tank battalion on Okinawa and in Korea.  He moved to Spokane in 1954 from the Seattle area and worked at the Northwest Magnesite plant in Chewelah, Wash., and Clarke Equipment (formerly Brown Trailer) until his retirement.

 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lorraine; two daughters, Sherri Adams of Spokane and Cindy Koerper of Mead; two sisters, Edith Sabo of Loon Lake, Wash., and Marjorie Wilcox of Deer Lake, Wash; one brother, Harold Miller of Valley, Wash.; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.

Adams, Brent G. Heinz, Troy A. Koerper, Dustin R. Koerper; one great-granddaughter, Courtney Kovalesky; two sisters, Edith Sabo, Loon Lake, WA, Marjorie Wilcox, Deer Lake, WA, one brother, Harold Miller, Valley, WA; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Schackel, a foster son, James L. Heinz, and a grandson, Paul E. Adams.  Funeral Service Wednesday April 24, 1996 at 10:30 A.M. at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home - North, 5100 W.
