Mrs. Benjamin Sinex, 101, of 907 Silver St., died at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was the former Ella "Mom" Sandlewick and a native of New Albany.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur of Edwardsville and Russell of New Albany; a daughter, Miss Mildred Sinex of New Albany; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Dieckmann Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.

SINEX, Mrs. Ella (Mom) nee Sandlewick, 101, who resided at 907 Silver Street died 12:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Sinex was a member of St. Marks United Church of Christ and was the widow of Benjamin Sinex. She is survived by two sons, Arthur Sinex, Edwardsville and Russell Sinex, New Albany, one daughter, Miss Mildred Sinex, New Albany, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday from the Dieckmann Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
