Edith A. Sabo passed away March 21, 2006 in Chewelah, Washington at the age of 93. Edith was born on October 20, 1912 in Puyallup, Washington. She was the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Wilcox) Miller. She was raised and schooled in Chewelah, graduating from Jenkins High School in 1930. On February 10, 1933 Edith married Steve Sabo. They made their home near Chewelah, moving away from time to time following Steve's work. In the 1970s they retired to the Loon Lake area. Edith was a people person who enjoyed friends and family.
She is survived by: one son Harold Sabo and wife Roberta, Loon Lake, WA; seven grandchildren: Steve, Paul and Joseph Ross, Joseph, Mike and Jerry Sabo and Tamara Partridge; brother Harold Miller, Valley, WA; niece, Lois Lawyer, Chewelah, WA; and numerous great grand and great great grandchildren.
Edith was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, daughter Rosemarie Ross, and her husband Steve Sabo who passed away in 1980.
Graveside services will be held for Edith on Friday, March 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chewelah Memorial Park Cemetery, Chewelah, WA.
