The estimable wife of Mr. D. S. Jocelyn, one of the compositors in the LEDGER-STANDARD office, died this morning at 8 o'clock, at the family residence on Upper Market street. The deceased had long been a sufferer from that fell disease consumption, and her death was not unexpected by her friends.

Mrs. J. was well known in this city, where the family have resided for many years. She was united to her now bereaved husband about eighteen years ago, and had been to him a faithful helpmeet. A patient and meek sufferer for many years, she has gone where suffering and sorrow never comes.
