Job Stanley was born about 1760, somewhere in the US, but location unknown.
There is some mystery surrounding his early life and he may have married twice,
but first wife is unknown if he did. He married Isabella Dyer before 1790.
By 1800, Job and wife Isabella were residents of Provincetown in Barnstable
County, Massachusetts.
For a brief time, he was in New Hampshire about 1801/2 and was in that state
at least until 1804. He had a son supposedly born in Maine in 1810. By 1812,
he and his family were living New Brunswick, where they lived in Mispec, Saint
John County for many years.
