     George Francis Waugh was born on 8 April 1888 at Manchester, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of James Irwin Waugh and Mary Elizabeth Logan. George Francis Waugh married Grace Lee Sharpe, daughter of Mary Puella Levinia Sharpe, on 27 February 1918 at Iredell Co, North Carolina. George Francis Waugh died on 12 June 1932 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co, Ohio, at age 44.2 He was buried on 21 July 1932 at Old St Joseph's Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co, Ohio; George was originally buried on 15 June 1932 at Cincinnati City Cemetery, but was later removed and reinterred on 21 July 1932.2
     He appeared on the census of 26 April 1910 at Akron, Summit Co, Ohio; This census listed George as aged 21, born New Hampshire. He listed that his father was "Ire-Irish" and his mother "Scot-English". He was then a waiter in a restaurant.3 On 18 June 1917, George registered for the World War I draft from Lowell, MA. He gave info that he was of medium height and build with blue eyes and chestnut hair. He was then 28 years old and single, and gave his birthdate as 8 Apr 1889, Manchester, NH. George gave his occupation as a groom in stables, under the employ of Barnum and Bailey.1
