1. Allan (Emigrant)1 Perley was born circa 1608 at Wales, England. He married Susanna Bokersen circa 1636 Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts. He died on 28 Dec 1675 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.
Perley Family #1. On 12 Jul 1634 landed in Charlestown, sailed the "Planter." In 1635 lived on High Street, Ipswich, sold 1652 2nd houselot NW of High St. Cemetery. Will on 23 Jun 1670.
Susanna Bokersen died on 11 Feb 1691/92 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.

3. Samuel2 Perley (Allan1) was born circa 1640 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. He married Ruth Trumble, daughter of John (emigrant) Trumble and Elinor Chandler, on 15 Jul 1664 Ipswich, Essex County, MA.
He was farmer. Perley Family #3. In 1692 Testified against Goode Howe at Salem Witch Trials.
Ruth Trumble was born on 23 Apr 1645 at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts. See her mark in Salem Witch trials.

4. Thomas2 Perley (Allan1) was born circa 1641. He married Lydia Peabody, daughter of Francis Peabody and Mary Foster, on 8 Jul 1667. He died on 24 Sep 1709 at Boxford, MA.
Prominent citizen of Boxford. On witchcraft jury of Elizabeth Howe.
Lydia Peabody was born in 1644. She married Thomas Howlett, son of Thomas Howlett and Rebecca Smith, circa 1661. She died on 30 Apr 1715.

7. Timothy2 Perley (Allan1) was born in 1653 at Ipswich. He married (--?--) Deborah in 1680. He died on 25 Jan 1706/7. In 1692 Testified against Goode Howe at Salem Witch Trials.
(--?--) Deborah was born circa 1659. She died circa 1735.

9. Sarah3 Perley (Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 7 Jun 1665 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. She married Joseph (Capt.) Andrew, son of Robert Andrew and (--?--) Grace, on 1 Feb 1680/81 Topsfield, Essex County, Massachusetts. She died on 15 Jan 1693/94 at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 28. Perley Family #11.
Joseph (Capt.) Andrew was born on 18 Sep 1657 at Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts. He married Mary Dickenson on 30 Mar 1695/96. He married Abigale (Grafton) Walker on 2 Nov 1704. He died on 28 Jul 1732 at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 74. House carpenter.

11. John3 Perley (Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 28 Sep 1669 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. He married Jane Dresser on 13 Jul 1698 Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts. He died on 2 May 1725 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 55. He was buried at first one buried at Linesbrook Cemetery see inscription on tombstone page 28. Perley Family #13.

19. Thomas3 Perley (Thomas2, Allan1) was born on 27 Sep 1668 at East Boxford. He married Sarah Osgood, daughter of John Osgood and Mary Clement. He married Elizabeth Putnam. He died on 13 Nov 1745 at age 77.
He was farmer, Boxford town clerk, selectman, school master.
There were no children of Thomas3 Perley and Sarah Osgood.

Elizabeth Putnam died in Oct 1746. Will in 1746.

33. Samuel4 Perley (John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 11 Mar 1712/13 at Linebrook Parish, Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. He married Ruth Howe, daughter of Abraham How and Hephzibah Andrew, on 10 Jan 1740/41 Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. He died on 10 Apr 1753 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 40. Perley Family #30.
Ruth Howe was born on 19 Apr 1722 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.

39. Nathaniel5 Perley (Samuel4, John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 11 Oct 1745 at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. He married Sarah Dutch, daughter of Benjamin Dutch and Sarah Day, on 23 Sep 1769 Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. He died in 1779 at Captured by British and shot dead. Perley Family #54. Military service on 19 Apr 1775 Minutemen under Capt. Daniel Rogers marched from Ipswich to Lexington.
Sarah Dutch was born in 1749 at Unknown. She married Samuel (Lieut.) Bacon. She died on 3 May 1819 at Groveland, Massachusetts. She was buried at Groveland Cemetery.

44. Samuel6 Perley (Nathaniel5, Samuel4, John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 19 Jul 1775 at Bradford, MA, later of Newburyport. He married Lucy Balch, daughter of Nathaniel Balch and Joanna Day, on 16 Jan 1799 Bradford, Massachusetts. He died on 30 Apr 1830 at New York City, New York, at age 54. He was House Carpenter. Perley Family #114.
Lucy Balch was born on 21 Feb 1779 at East Bradford, Massachusetts. She died in 1854 at New York City, New York. Known as "Lilly of the Merrimac Valley."

46. Lucy Balch7 Perley (Samuel6, Nathaniel5, Samuel4, John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 4 Jan 1800 at Newburyport. She married Joseph (Capt.) Livermore circa 1827 New York City. She died on 5 Feb 1855 at NYC at age 55.
Joseph (Capt.) Livermore was born on 20 Mar 1798 at Perry, ME later of Eastport, ME. He died on 10 Jun 1853 at At sea at age 55. Lived in NYC.

48. Samuel7 Perley (Samuel6, Nathaniel5, Samuel4, John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 20 Jun 1806 at Newbury, MA. He married Frances Eliza Macartney, daughter of Francis (Emigrant) Macartney and Mary Henderson, New York. He died on 23 Dec 1881 at Washington D.C. at age 75. He was Publisher and in War Dept. Perley Family #242.
Frances Eliza Macartney was born on 14 Feb 1810 at King's Gate (near Dublin) lived Maguire's Bridge, Ireland. She died on 12 Jun 1877 at Washington D.C. at age 67.

49. Charles7 Perley (Samuel6, Nathaniel5, Samuel4, John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 10 Jun 1811 at Newburyport, MA. He married Mary Jane Matthews. He died on 15 Jun 1885 at NYC at age 74.
"torpedo" patent. He was proprietor of Eckford Iron Works, iron founder and machinist. Received 35 patents for labor-saving devices and machines on shipboard. In 1825 lived in NYC.
Mary Jane Matthews was born on 16 Apr 1813 at County Tyrone, Ireland. She died on 4 Nov 1901 at Rockville Center, LI, NY, at age 88.

59. Francis Macartney8 Perley (Samuel7, Samuel6, Nathaniel5, Samuel4, John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born in 1834 at New York City/PA? He married Priscilla Augusta La Fetra, daughter of Edward B. La Fetra and Mary DeWitt, on 29 Sep 1863 Eatontown, NJ. He died on 21 Aug 1894 at Waverley, NY. He was buried at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, NY.
He was founded the Franklinville Chronicle, editor and proprietor of Waverly Advocate at his death. Perley Family #407. On 19 May 1887 resigned as editor and proprietor of Hamburg Journal. He lived in 1894 at Chemung St., Waverly, NY.
Priscilla Augusta La Fetra was born on 29 Jun 1844 at Eatontown, NJ. She died in 1931. She was buried at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, NY.

72. Harriet Augusta9 Perley (Francis8, Samuel7, Samuel6, Nathaniel5, Samuel4, John3, Samuel2, Allan1) was born on 20 Apr 1869 at Girard, PA. She married Ernest Ralph Baker, son of Ralph Baker and Emma (Eliza) Smith, on 23 Jul 1901 Franklinville, NY, Cattaragus County. She died in 1962 at Olean, NY. She was buried in 1962 at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, NY.
She was educated at Smith or Vassar possibly, a 7 sisters school. She was teacher of 7th grade, School 3, lived on North First Street. She lived in 1962 at 9 Franklin St., Olean, NY; 2001 trip couldn't find, area now industrialized.
Ernest Ralph Baker was born on 20 Jun 1871 at Petroleum Center, Cornplanter Township, Venango County, PA. He died on 7 Aug 1946 at Olean at age 75; cerebral hemorrhage per death certificate. He was buried in 1946 at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, NY. Census 1920 NY, Cattaraugus, Olean, Harry Gilmore, age 37, born Wisconsin, living with them as roomer. He was haberdasher Baker & Gelder, 136 N. Union, Olean, NY. In 1883 Came to Olean. In 1888 104 Clinton st., occupation clerk. He lived in 1920 at 417 West Sullivan, Olean, see photo. In 1946 Rev. Henry S. Sizer, officiated at funeral Church of the Ascension, Bradford, PA.
