1. John (Dr.)¹ Gregg was born circa 1838 at VA or MD; Physician's Dir. says born 1836. He married Elizabeth Clark, daughter of Father Clark and (--?--) mother, circa 1866. He died on 18 Aug 1906. He was buried after 18 Aug 1906 at Elk View Masonic Cemetery, Clarksburg, Harrison, WV.
Census 1870 WV, Preston, Reno, physician. On 30 Jun 1877 Elected President for six months of the Harrison County Medical Society. Census 1880 WV, Harrison, Elk with 6 children, Physician. In 1881 Received Medical License. He lived in 1890 at Rented farm for 12 years. On 10 Sep 1896 On the Property Deed of the Quiet Dell Methodist Church along with Earnest A. Rider, John M. Cottrill, I. Minter Wolfe and Marcellus Garrison. He was the first Superintendent for the Quiet Dell Union Sunday School. Census 1900 WV, Harrison, Elk District, physician.

Marcellus (Mars) D. Garrison was born on 2 Jul 1863 at father's farm, 9 miles from West Union, Doddridge Co., WV, Tom's Fork Section, neighbor of Frank Maxwell.
