A member of the Woodbury family of Barre, Mass.  From the Woodbury bible this appears in Madison Co. Pioneers;

Hubbard Woodbury, b. England.  Lived in town of Barre, Massachusetts.  Had;
   1. Knowlton Woodbury, b. Barre, MA.  A pioneer settler of Herkimer Co.  Moved to Bloomfield, Munroe Co., New York. Then moved to Mendon, Monroe Co., New York.  Wife Marion Gould.  Had 8 children including;
          a.  Noah Woodbury, b. in Levrett, Massachusetts 1805, d. 1880.  A cabinet maker.  Lived Peterboro, Madison Co., New York.  Owned a meat market in Peterboro.  Wife Betsey Robertson b. Fenner 1810, d. Peterboro, 1873.  Children;
                 1.  Mary, wife of Charles Ostrander of Peterboro.
                 2.  John N. Woodbury
                 3. Margaret, of Pasadena, CA.
                 4.  Helen, wife of Elbert Place of Buffalo.
John N., wife, Anne daughter of Alexander Morrison (born on board a ship off Sandy Hook in 1806).  He d. 1852 in  Lenox.  Anne's mother Margaret Morrison Robertson was born in Fenner September 27, 1815, d.  in Lenox October 14, 1880.
 

CHARLOTTE WOODBURY: Charlotte was born at Barre, MA May 24, 1772 and died June 15, 1844 at Peterboro, New York. A religous professor for almost 50 years131 Appears on 1830 census, of Smithfield (Peterboro), Madison Co., New York June 26, 1844;  "At the residence of her son, J.M., in Peterboro on the 15th inst., Widow Charlotte Messinger, ae 72yr.  She was a professor of religion for nearly 1/2 a century."  Madison Morrisville Observer
