October 23, 1765;  "To All People unto whom this present Deed of Sale shall come, Robert Parkhill of Leicester in the County of Worcester Husbandman sendeth Greeting. Know ye that the said Robert Parkhill for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty Pounds Lawfull Money, of the Province of Massachusetts Bay in New England to me in Hand at and before the Ensealing and Delivery hereof  well & duly paid by Matthew Scott of Leicester aforesaid Husbandman, of Receipt whereof hereby acknowledge and thereof do aquitt and Discharge the said Matthew Scott his Heirs ____ and Adm_ and any of them forever by these Presents have given granted bargained sold Released _____ conveyed and confirmed and by this presents do fully and absolutely give grant bargain sell release _____ convey and confirm unto the said Matthew Scott, all that certain Piece or Parcel of land lying & being in the Southeasterly part of Leicester aforesaid containing Forty Acres and is Butted & bounded as follows viz. Northerly by the Land of Robert Henry Easterly by the land of John Chandler Esq. Southerly by the land of Thomas Denny Westerly by the land of Thomas Denny & partly by the Land of Robert Henry Together with the Buildings thereof also all the Estate Right Title Interest Inheritance ___ Property Possession Claim and Demand whatsoever of me the said Robert Parkhill of in and to the said granted Premises with the Reversion and Remainders of the same to Have and to Hold the said piece or Parcel of Land with the Rights Members and ___ thereof unto the said Matthew Scott his Heirs & Assigns to his and their only proper use Benefitt and Behalf forever.  And I the said Robert Parkhill do avouch myself at the Time of ye Ensealing & untill the Delivery hereof to be the Just sole and Lawfull owner of all the said granted Land and Premises and that I have in my self full Power and Right and Lawfull authority to grant sell and Convey the same in manner _____ free & clear & fully & clearly aquitted & dischargec of & from all & all manner of former and other gifts grants Bargains Sales Leases Mortgages and ______ _____ whatsoever and I the said Robert Parkhill for myself my heirs Executors & adm. do hereby Covenant Promise and agree from time to time and at all time forever hereafter to warrant and Defend the said granted Land & Premises with I ____ unto said Matthew Scott his Heirs & Assigns forever against the Lawfull Claims and Demands of all and eveery Person _____ whomever.
In witness whereof have set my hand and Seal this Twenty third of October Anno Domini one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Five and in the Fifth year of his Majesty's Reign, and Mary the wife of said Robert Parkhill in Testimony of her free Consent of this Sale and Relinqueshes benefit of Right of her Dower or Thirds has set her hand and Seal the day and year above written.

April 1, 1766;  "....By the Honourable John Chandler Esq.  Judge of the Probate of Wills and for granting Letters of Administration of the Estates Persons deceased, having Goods, Chattels, Rights or Credits in the County of Worcester. within the Province aforesaid, To Nathaniel Parkhill of Leicester in the County and Province aforesaid, Husbandman Greeting.  Whereas your Late Father Robert Parkhill of Sutton, aforesaid yeoman Decd.  Deceased having while he lived, and at the Time of his Decease, Goods, Chattels, Rights, or Credits in the County aforesaid, lately died Intestate, whereby the Power of committing Administration, and full Disposition of all and Singular the Goods, Chattels, Rights and Credits of the said Deceased;  and also the hearing, examining, and allowing the Accompt of such Administration doth appertain unto Me: Trusting therefore in your Care and Fidelity, I do by there Presents, commit unto you full Power to Administer all and Singular the Goods, Chattels, Rights and Credits of the said Deceased; and well and faithfully to dispose of the same according to Law; and also to ask, gather, levy, recover, and receive all and whatsoever Credits of the said Deceased, which to him, while he lived, and at the time of his Death, did appertain, and to pay all Debts in which the said Deceased stood bound, so far as his Goods, Chattels, Rights and Credits can extend, according to the Value thereof:  And to make a true and perfect inventory of all and Singular the Good, Chattels, Rights and Credits; and to exhibit the same unto the Registry of the Court of Probate for the County aforesaid, at or before the First day of July next ensuing:  And to render a plain and true Accompt of your said Administration upon Oath, at or before the First Day of April which will be in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Seven  And I do hereby ordain, constitute and appoint you Administrator of all and Singular the Good, Chattels, Rights and Credits aforesaid.
In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my Hand and the Seal of the said  Court of Probate.       Dated at Worcester, the first Day of April Annoque Domini 1766.

"Know All Men By These Presents, That we Nathaniel Parkhill Husbandman Thomas Denny Gent and Robert Henry Yeoman all of Leicester in the County of Worcester within his Majesty's Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New-England, are holden and stand firmly bound and obliged unto John Chandler Esq: Judge of the Probate of Wills, and granting Administration within the County of (blank) in the full Sum of Five hundred Pounds, in Lawful Money of said Province, to be paid unto the said John Chandler his Successors in the said Office, or Assigns:  To the true Payment whereof, we do bind ourselves, and each of us, our, and each of our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, jointly and severally for the whole and in the whole, firmly by these Presents.

You are hereby appointed and impowered on oath to take and Inventory of and according to your best skill and Judgement, truly and Justly to apprize (in Lawfull Money of the Province) all the Estated whereof Robert Parkhill late of Leicester aforesaid yeoman died seized in said aforesaid County and you are to make Return of this warrant with your doings therein unto the Probate Office in the same County as soon as conveniently may be.  Given under my hand this 1st Day of April Anno Domini 1766.

Worcester ss April 4, 1766.  Appeared David Parkhill now Resident at Western in said County Infant son of Robert Parkill late of Leicester in said County yeoman, Decesd.  (Said David Being fifteen years of age as he saith acknowledged that he made choyce of Simeon Dwight of Western aforesaid Esqr. to be his Guardian.

John Crabtree & Matthew Patrick Husbandman all of Western in the County of Worcester Are holden and stand firmly bound and obliged unto John Chandler Esq.: Judge of the Probate of Wills, and granting Administration within the County of Worcester in the full Sum of Two hundred Pounds, in Lawful Money of said Province, to be paid unto the said John Chandler his Successors in the said Office, or Assigns:  To the true Payment whereof, we do bind ourselves, and each of us, our, and each of our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, jointly and severally for the whole and in the whole, firmly by these Presents.

The Condition of this present Obligation is such, That if the above-bounden Simon Dwight who is nominated and allowed to be Guardian unto David Parkhill aged fifteen years son of Robert Parkhill late of Leicester in the County of Worcester, yeoman Deceased shall and do well and truly perform and discharge the Trust and Office of Guardian unto the said Minor, and that in and by all Things according to Law: and shall render a plain and true Accompt of his said Guardianship upon Oath, and all and singular such Estate as shall come to his Hand and Possession by Virtue hereof, and of the Profits and Improvements of the same, so far as the Law will charge said Estate as shall be found remaining upon his Accompt, (the same being first examined and Allowed of by the Judge or Judges, for the Time being, of the Probate of Wills, &c within the County of Worcester aforesaid) unto the said Minor when he shall arrive at full age: or otherwise as the said Judge or Judges by his or their Decree or Sentence pursuant to Law shall limit and appoint:  Then this obligation to be Void, otherwise to remain in full Force.

Errors & receipts for Nathaniel Parkhill
Worcester Co. June 21, 1766 Nathaniel Parkhill adm. on the Estate of his late Father Robert Parkhill Deceased Presented the above account and made oath to the Truth thereof and Produced vouchers for the Payments therein Contained I allow thereof whereby it appears a Balance remains in his Hands of 63 pounds - 3 2   21 pounds - 1 - 07 Dower that he pay to Mary Parkhill the Dowager widow for her thirds the Remainder being 42 pounds - 2 - 1 1/2 Dower that he pay it to Jane Green Martha Perry James Parkhill and David Parkhill Children of the Deceased or their Guardians or legal Representatives each the Sum of seven pounds and four pence one farthing which with his own Share makes the Sum of Forty Two Pounds Two Shillings and one Penny half Penny and on his so Doing he be Discharged.

"July 2nd 1766 this may certifie that I Mary Parkhill widow of Robert Parkhill late of Leicester Deceased have received of my son Nathaniel Parkhill administrator on said Estate twenty one pound one shilling and a half penny in full my thirds of said Estate and do theretofore hereby Discharge him the said Nathaniel as witness my hand
