David Bennett's recorded age of 103 at his death is extremely questionable.  Especially given the fact that he served in the 1690 Quebec expedition, and would been about 75 at the time if his birthdate was about 1615.  It is likely the birthdate is incorrect or his age was exaggerated as was sometimes done during those times.  Unlike today, age meant status - some people wished to be older than they were, and so...

JOHN DECKER25, January 21, 1705/0625.  1719, bequest of 20s in father's will26 John Decker, Jr. b. in Haverhill, MA, November 20, 1683; d. probably in Wiscasset, ME, in 1754 as his will was dated at Wiscasset on October 30, 1754, son of John Decker and Mary Scott. John and Sarah Decker lived in Kittery, ME, and were of Newington, NH by 1716. They were admitted to full communion in the church at Newington, NH on September 30, 1716.

January 13, 1744/45 in York, Maine36.  He married ALICE DONNELL36 June 13, 1734 in Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts36, daughter of NATHANIEL DONNELL and HANNAH PREBLE. Physician.

January 23, 1738;  Received a mill grant and priveledges from proprietors, Sir William Pepperell and Jeremiah Moulton in Sanford, ME.  This 50 acres bordered the Moussam River in the Southern part of town.  (History of Sanford, ME - Edwin Emery)

April 6, 1739;  Jacob Perkins, John Winn of Wells, Dr. Bennett, Jeremiah Moulton and Daniel Moulton of York agreed to build a double saw mill.  Bennett received 1/2 share, the rest each received 1/8.  Bennett sold 1/8 right to James Littlefield of Wells, Millwright.   (History of Sanford, ME - Edwin Emery)

January 1752;  As Alice Simpson, Bennett’s widow turns in an inventory, costs, and disbursements of the estate. Inventory appraised at ?1320/8/0.  Inventory includes common land rights in York, saw mill shares, and land in Phillipstown (later Sanford).    (Maine Probate Abstracts - Frost)

November 23. 1786;  William and Nathaniel Bennett, gentlemen of Sanford, John Bennett of York, gent., and David Bennett of York, hatter, give up their rights to lands of the estate of Dr. David Bennett under the administration of Joseph Simpson of York, esq., and his wife Alice, since the lands had to be sold off to cover the debts of the estate.   (Maine Probate Abstracts - Frost)

ALICE DONNELL:
August 18, 1778;  Will of Nathaniel Donnell names Alice Simpson as his daughter.  Her Bennett sons received lands from the estate at Sanford. Will proved 1780.  (Maine Probate Abstracts - Frost)
