The Samuel Patton Martin family. Did Samuel and Delilah have a son who died young?
One of my favorite pictures is of Aunt Vert and her young family with her mother Delilah, sister Lula. Not certain of the couple on the right end ; the bearded man may be Abraham Keefauver
Samuel Patton Martin born June 18, 1844 and died September 12, 1902, living his entire life in Washington County, Tennessee married Delilah Keefauver born abt 1849. Delilah was the daughter of Nicholas Elbert Keefauver, II and Dicey Bacon Keefauver

Thanks to Marilyn Hunt Chambers for the great pictures of Aunt Vert and daughters Nellie and Mary as well as the Morningstar School photo. I believe the teacher is William Shelton Squibb and the tall guy in the middle looks like a Uriah Hunt kin. The young girl sitting in front with her face scratched may not be Nellie Walker. I have been told that Nellie scratched her face off in many pictures ; maybe it is a friend that Nellie didn't like? Nellie would be 16 yrs old and one of the older girls standing in back
Sons of Alverta and John Thomas Walker ; Fred Martin Walker and John Thomas Walker, Jr ; John died of diabetes in his early adult years
Nellie and Mary Walker daughters of Alverta and John Thomas Walker
This is Nellie Walker and John Fields when they were living in Florida
Another Sulphur Springs graduating class but what year? There must be a MARTIN boy graduating? Standing in the middle back row or seated on the right?
Aunt Sarah Ann Bacon Harrison was the aunt of John Thomas Walker ; she lived on Douglass Chapel Rd ; would love to know the exact place the house stood. It must be torn down today
