RICHARD CARR "DOC" WALKER

"DOC" as he was always called was the fourth son of Henry Martin and Amanda Jane Bacon Walker. He married Ida Violet Bacon granddaughter of Isaac Bacon who was the son of James Bacon and also the father of Thomas Bacon the father of Amanda Jane Bacon Walker. In 1910 Doc and family were living in Washington State near his brother William Martin Walker, widower. But someone must have gotten homesick for Tennessee and they made their way back east never to leave East Tennessee again
