James H Gray died Nov 12 1896 aged about 85 yrs. "Mother" Josephine Gray died Oct 21 1909 aged about 68 yrs; Josephine worked in the schools in the Sulphur Springs Community including Locust Mount ; she and James had two sons ; Bob frequented our store and my mother was very kind to him

Nelson and siblings in 1860 in Washington Co., Tennessee Hoggard's District. In 1880 he was living with his brother James and sister Rachel. His father was John Nelson 1788-1860 married July 20, 1826 to Esther Ferguson 1808-December 18, 1867
