MARTHA PATSEY ELLIS CHINOUTH

For years I have wondered about all the Martha Patsey Ellis girls...but today I think I have them figured out. They most likely were named for Martha Ellis the wife of William Ellis who settled in Washington County where they raised a large family. So all the Martha Patsey's are cousins in some way and some are more than just simple cousins but cousins entwined with several families

Parents of Richard were Nicholas and Ruth Hale Chinouth both born Maryland. The parents of Martha Patsy were James and Elizabeth Gresham Ellis
