Levi Hartman son of Joseph Jr and Jane "Jennie" Walker Hartman was born 1816 died August 14, 1900 in Wapello Co., Iowa married Mary Jane Rouse ; Children: John D, Joseph Stout, Martha E., Eliza Jane, Margaret Hartman ; Joseph S. moved to Aztec, New Mexico and Margaret Hartman Lopp died in Stockton, San Joaquin, California ; she may have been living with her daughter Nelle Lopp Berry. John D. Hartman was a gold miner in Washington with his sons Richard and Ernest and son-in-law John Neil McClain an engineer in the gold mine
