JOHN G. ELLIS

JOHN G. ELLIS born June 26, 1819 died July 17, 1887 in Missouri and ROBERT B. ELLIS BORN 1816 at Boones Creek Washington Co., Tennessee were sons of Jacob M and Letitia Cowan Ellis but I am beginning to find good information about them. I do have their names as witness to a deed between Letitia Ellis and William W. Ellis dated 1838. I do have a wife Rebecca for John G Ellis and sons Robert and John M Ellis born 1837- 1849. Jacob had two brothers John and Robert who may be mixed up with the nephews and several of them did go to Missouri

Deed that shows Robert and John Ellis as witness to the deed between their mother Letitia and their brother William W. Ellis ; all three brothers were soon to get married and later made their way to Missouri and Illinois
