James Bacon Jr born about 1795 in Virginia most likely on the trip down from Maidencreek, Pennsylvania ; second son of James and Magdelena Niemon/Neumann married Dorcas Jackson July 25, 1812 in Washington Co., Tennessee ; marriage listing has Johnny Bacon and yes I truly believe he was John James Bacon....might Magdalena have named him for the two grandfathers James Bacon and John Neumann???? DORCAS was the daughter of GEORGE JACKSON and ELIZABETH "Betsey" JOBE ; DORCAS born abt 1792. By August 1850 the family was living in Jefferson Co., Tennessee where Dorcas died February 1, 1851 and burial in Old Hopewell Cemetery, Jefferson Co., Tennessee. James Jr. died March 15, 1853 and burial in Old Hopewell Cemetery
