Jake as he was called was a physician and was thought by family members never to have married but I have found records that show he did marry later in life to Sarah Maggie McPeak. Levi McPeak family was living near Joseph Clark which is located between Keeblers Cross Roads and Boones Creek Rd. McPeak family is buried at Boones Creek Christian Church Cemetery and Jake is right beside Maggie. I am most certain the Clark and Ellis family are buried there as well...so many rocks and stones that show lots of burials. Jake's death notice shows he had lived in the county of Washington for 41 years...He was 52 yrs old when he died so where was Jake those 11 years? Did he and Maggie go out of the county after they married?
Maggie must have married to a W.W. Downer later....Her tombstone has her as the wife of W.W. Downer. However, she is buried beside Jacob M Ellis and with other family members. I wonder if Sarah might have been a nurse at the VA and met W.W. Downer at the hospital? He was a widower and she was a widow both about the same age
