ELIJAH ELLIS

Elijah Ellis born about 1794 was the youngest son and child of William and Martha Ellis. He married Unknown but suspect a "COX" and named a son Samuel Cox Ellis and a son Elijah Ellice. Elijah "Ellice" is buried in the Ellis-Martin Family Cemetery, Gray, Washington Co., Tennessee. James and Elizabeth Gresham Ellis also named a son Elijah Ellis who married Jane McAdams and I suspect that Elijah and William sons of James and Elizabeth Gresham Ellis married sisters Mary "Polly" and Jane McAdams
