CLARK ELLIS

Clark was the next to youngest sons of William and Martha Ellis to be born abt 1792 in Washington Co., Tennessee. He married Nancy Deakins (marriage record says Lekins) and I am almost certain that Nancy Deakins was a daughter of James & Achsa Deakins and a sister to Daniel Deakins who is on the deed between Clark Ellis & Daniel Deakins for it was about that time Clark and Nancy moved to Marion Co., Tennessee. They move to Marion Co., Tennessee where several generations lived for years to come. His family is very well documented in Jasper, Marion Co., Tennessee
