Charles Bacon was the youngest son and child of James and Magdalena Neumann Bacon. Charles being the last child at home inherited the farm and home place of which today his descendants still remain on this century farm

He married Nancy Bacon, daughter of Jonathan & Rachel Jackson Bacon (Jonathan a brother to James); Charles and Nancy married June 8, 1837 in Washington Co., Tennessee
