PHEBE JOB/JOBE born in Virginia married THOMAS BARRON, SR October 31, 1794 in Washington Co., Tennessee. Phebe died August 17, 1858 and Thomas died January 24, 1863. Both are buried in the Bacon Family Cemetery on the Range Farm, Elmer Walker Rd., Washington Co., Tennessee. Every time I visit the cemetery I find something new and this time I noticed Phebe spelled as Phebe ; however, her daughter's name is spelled Phoebe. I am sure most personal names have at some time been spelled differently and will continue to plague the genealogist. Another example is it JOBE or JOB and I am sure all through the years family members have had this problem
