John Schumm John Schumm ws the son of Georg Martin Schumm and Maria Pflueger. He entered into service on February 27, 1864 when he was 21 years old. He served as a Sergeant and Corporal in Company A of the 60th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He was imprisoned in a Confederate prison in Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina. He died October 28, 1864. It is unknown when this photograph was taken.
