1875
Born February 4, 1875, Eva (Eve) was the baby of the Enoch "Jack"son George family.

1888
Her mother Margaret died June 25, 1888 when Eva was 13. Eva's older sisters, 31 year old Ida and 28(?) year old Opha, raised their youngest siblings, 17 year old Charles Fred and Eva.

1910
In 1910, thirty-five year old Evelyn married Clarence Alfred Clawson. He was born 2 August 1873 in Ohio. His parents were NOT Clinton (b ca 1846) and Elizabeth (b ca 1848) of Liberty township, Butler Co. They appeared in the 1900 census with a son, 27 year old Clarence Clawson - a bank teller. That Clarence turns out to be James Clarence Clawson, born in 1873, the same year as Clarence Alfred Clawson. Clarence A. Clawson may or may never have lived in Butler Co.

Early in their marriage, Clarence worked on the King Ranch in Dalhart, Texas.

1917-18
Clarence Clawson's WWI draft registration showed he and his wife Evelyn were living in Indianapolis IN in 1917-18. He was a veternarian for the Department of Agriculture.

1925
According to a post card written in 1925, the Clawsons were living in Cheboygen, MI. Clarence was on a trip, traveling from St. Jo, MO to Indianapolis.

1930
The 1930 census shows Clarence, Evelyn, and their 7 year old daughter, Doris M. living in Indianapolis, IN (Maron County, Washington township). Actually the Clawsons were in the process of legally adopting Doris as their daughter.

1934
Clarence died in 1934 by drowning.

Evelyn lived 40 more years, moving back to Butler County, Ohio to live at 7 E. Collins Street, Oxford, OH. Doris married.

Toward the end of her long life, Eva moved to the Golden Years Nursing Home on Old Oxford Road, Hamilton, OH.
