     Stephen David Stilley was born on 3 May 1870. He was the son of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. Stephen David Stilley died on 5 September 1870 at age 0.

     Sammy Randolph Toler was born on 20 June 1947 in Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.¹ He was the son of Quentin Randolph Toler and Doris Lee Stilley. Sammy Randolph Toler married Rachel Marion Stamp on 24 June 1978 in New Haven FWB Church, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.² Sammy Randolph Toler and Rachel Marion Stamp were divorced on 22 April 1993 in Union County, North Carolina.³ Sammy Randolph Toler died on 16 September 1996 in Caton, Craven County, North Carolina, at age 49.      William Joseph Stilley was born on 28 September 1871. He was the son of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. William Joseph Stilley married Mary Jane Toler, daughter of James Lawrence Toler and Sinia Anne Dunn, on 17 May 1914. William Joseph Stilley died on 12 April 1920 in Craven County, North Carolina, at age 48.¹

     Mary Jane Stilley was born on 25 March 1874. She was the daughter of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. Mary Jane Stilley married Samuel Edwards on 14 October 1890. Mary Jane Stilley married Samuel Edwards on 18 October 1891 in Craven County, North Carolina.¹ Mary Jane Stilley died on 24 April 1934 at age 60.

     Sina Elizabeth Stilley was born on 25 August 1876. She was the daughter of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. Sina Elizabeth Stilley married Jesse Harley Rowe, son of Elkanah Harley Rowe and Charlotte Ann Dunn, on 29 December 1901 in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina.^1,2 Sina Elizabeth Stilley died on 6 December 1933 at age 57.

     John Calvin Stilley was born on 6 March 1878. He was the son of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. John Calvin Stilley married Arbelia Jones on 30 July 1911. John Calvin Stilley died on 7 December 1965 at age 87.

     Shadrick Ishmael Stilley was born on 13 February 1880. He was the son of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. Shadrick Ishmael Stilley married Amanda Catherine Bennett, daughter of William Riley Bennett and Sarah Catherine Edwards, on 24 February 1903. Shadrick Ishmael Stilley died on 29 August 1967 at age 87. He was buried.

     Henry Bryan Stilley was born on 16 March 1883. He was the son of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. Henry Bryan Stilley was born on 16 March 1884 in Craven County, North Carolina, according to his death certificate.¹ He married Georgia Ann Toler, daughter of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones, on 5 March 1911 in Craven County, North Carolina. Henry Bryan Stilley died on 31 October 1949 at age 66. He died on 1 November 1949 in Craven County, North Carolina, at age 66 according to his death certificate.¹

     Celia Holland Stilley was born on 3 July 1888. She was the daughter of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn. Celia Holland Stilley was a witness (an unknown value) with William Joyner Stilley. Celia Holland Stilley married James Robert Toler, son of James Lawrence Toler and Sinia Anne Dunn, on 3 January 1904 in Craven County, North Carolina.¹ Celia Holland Stilley died on 14 November 1974 at age 86. She was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     William Pitt Toler was born on 25 March 1859. He was the son of William Toler and Penelope Barrington. William Pitt Toler married Almira Ramon Jones, daughter of Augustus Harley Jones and Holland Rowe, on 30 April 1882 in Beaufort County, North Carolina.¹ William Pitt Toler was "had the misfortune of getting one of his thumbs badly mashed one day last week while at a log rolling."
on 21 March 1905 in Zorah, Craven County, North Carolina.² He died on 6 December 1946 in Craven County, North Carolina, at age 87 due to a cerebral hemorrhage." His obituary in the Sun Journal read: "Funeral services were held at the graveside in the Toler cemetery near Ernul at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon for William P. Toler, 87, who died Friday morning at his home near Ernul after an illness of about three weeks. He is survived by one son, William P. Toler, Jr., and four daughters, Mrs. George Stilley, Mrs. Pennie Stilley, Mrs. Lucy Toler, and Mrs. Lovie Toler."^3,4 He was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

      Almira Ramon Jones was also known as Ann R. Jones. She was born on 2 October 1857. She was the daughter of Augustus Harley Jones and Holland Rowe. Almira Ramon Jones married William Pitt Toler, son of William Toler and Penelope Barrington, on 30 April 1882 in Beaufort County, North Carolina.¹ Almira Ramon Jones died on 24 February 1920 in Craven County, North Carolina, at age 62.² She died on 25 February 1920 at age 62 according to her tombstone. She was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Josephus Toler was born on 3 December 1882. He was the son of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. Josephus Toler and William Ernest Toler were ill with typhoid fever as the New Bern Weekly Journal reported, "We have two new cases of typhoid fever in our community, Mr. Cephas Toler, and Mr. Ernest Toler. Dr. Dixon of Edward is attending them." on 27 May 1903 in Zorah, Craven County, North Carolina.¹ Josephus Toler died on 19 August 1903 at age 20 "Mr. Cephas Toler who has been reported as being so sick of typhoid fever died at his home here yesterday morning after an illness of more than three months. He has been convalescent for some time and everybody thought had passed the danger point. It was his brother who died a few weeks ago, and three others of the family are very sick with the same fever now."² He was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina. He never married.

     Linda Carol Toler was born on 17 September 1948 in Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Quentin Randolph Toler and Doris Lee Stilley. Linda Carol Toler died on 31 July 1953 in Caton, Craven County, North Carolina, at age 4. She was buried in August 1953 in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     William Augustus Toler was born on 4 April 1884. He was the son of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. William Augustus Toler died on 24 July 1903 at age 19 of typhoid fever. A note in the Zorah column of the New Bern Daily Journal of July 28, 1903, stated "Our community has been saddened by the death of one of our young men, of that most dreaded disease, typhoid fever. Mr. Augustus Toler, son of Mr. W.P. Toler died on the 24th inst. after an illness of a little over one week. Mr. Toler's family has the deepest sympathy of our entire community. His oldest son has been down with the same fever since the 13th of May but is now convalescent. His daughter Miss Holland Toler was taken a few days ago and is very ill, her fever running as high as 105 and over, almost continually."¹ He was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina. He never married.

     Mary Holland Toler was born on 25 April 1885. She was the daughter of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. Mary Holland Toler died on 5 September 1903 at age 18 of typhoid fever. She was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina. She never married.

     Fenner Pitt Toler was born on 29 August 1887. He was the son of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. Fenner Pitt Toler died on 20 September 1903 in Zorah, Craven County, North Carolina, at age 16 "Died of Typhoid Fever. On the 20th inst., death again entered the home of Mr. W.P. Toler and took his third son, Fenner P. Toler, a young man about 15 years old. He had been convalescent for some time and every body thought he was past danger when the relapse came.
This is four hale, hearty young people who have been snatched into eternity right in the morning of life when their future was so bright and sunny before them. Four bright young plants, as it were, just on the verge of maturity cut down by that merciless reaper Death. How sad! Oh how sad!
But Oh the anguish of those bereaved parents! Who can express their anguish while for the last four months they have waited and watched and prayed and at last have seen their darlings taken away one by one and transplanted in the garden of eternity.
The father himself has been at death's door for some time, thinking, no doubt, that he would be the next victim. He is now convalescent adn it is hoped will soon be out of danger. But he has two small children who have the fever and it is not yet known what the result might be."¹ He was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Georgia Ann Toler was born on 31 May 1889. She was the daughter of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. Georgia Ann Toler married Henry Bryan Stilley, son of William Joyner Stilley and Elizabeth Taylor Dunn, on 5 March 1911 in Craven County, North Carolina. Georgia Ann Toler died on 23 October 1975 at age 86.

     Lucinda Annis Toler was born on 20 April 1893. She was the daughter of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. Lucinda Annis Toler married Thomas Jefferson Toler, son of Lorenza Lewis Toler and Sarah Jane Caton, on 4 July 1917. Lucinda Annis Toler died on 9 July 1986 at age 93. She was buried in Pine Tree Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Sarah Catherine Toler was born on 8 March 1895. She was the daughter of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. Sarah Catherine Toler died on 13 May 1899 at age 4 after she found Pa Pitt's liquor bottle and drank too much. She became intoxicated, fell down the stairs and hit her head, which killed her. She was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Lovie McCall Toler was born on 20 November 1897. She was the daughter of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. Lovie McCall Toler married Ulysses Grant Toler, son of George Lynier Toler and Laura Belle Norman, on 22 September 1912. Lovie McCall Toler died on 14 April 1973 at age 75. She was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     William Toler was born on 16 August 1901. He was the son of William Pitt Toler and Almira Ramon Jones. William Toler married Nannie Daugherty Ipock on 11 April 1922. William Toler died on 3 May 1951 at age 49. He was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     William Toler was born on 24 January 1824. He was the son of James Toler and Rebecca Springle.
William Toler was chain bearer of the survey for a grant of land to James Toler on 13 May 1844 in Craven County, North Carolina; The grant (warrant number 313) for 100 acres was at the head of Pine Tree Branch on the west side of Bear Trap Ridge.¹ William Toler and Penelope Barrington obtained a marriage bond on 2 December 1845 in Craven County, North Carolina.² William Toler died on 22 March 1894 at age 70.
