     John Sherman Jones was the son of John Franklin Jones and Matilda Jane Rowe. John Sherman Jones married Easter Anne Rowe, daughter of David Rowe and Sarah Ann Bennet, on 20 December 1889.

     Easter Anne Rowe was born on 10 May 1871. She was the daughter of David Rowe and Sarah Ann Bennet. Easter Anne Rowe married John Sherman Jones, son of John Franklin Jones and Matilda Jane Rowe, on 20 December 1889. Easter Anne Rowe died on 18 June 1945 at age 74.

     Elizabeth Jones was born on 9 November 1890. She was the daughter of John Sherman Jones and Easter Anne Rowe.

     Minnie Caroline Jones was born on 19 April 1894. She was the daughter of John Sherman Jones and Easter Anne Rowe. Minnie Caroline Jones died on 15 January 1978 at age 83.

     Mary Mollie Jones was born on 24 December 1896. She was the daughter of John Sherman Jones and Easter Anne Rowe. Mary Mollie Jones married Levi Thomas Norman, son of John Riley Norman and Martha Frances Jones, on 24 September 1916 in Beaufort County, North Carolina.¹

     Theresa Anne Jones was born on 29 December 1898. She was the daughter of John Sherman Jones and Easter Anne Rowe.

     Sarah Emily Jones was born on 4 July 1902. She was the daughter of John Sherman Jones and Easter Anne Rowe. Sarah Emily Jones died on 6 May 1980 at age 77.

     John Sherman Jones Jr. was born on 29 September 1909. He was the son of John Sherman Jones and Easter Anne Rowe. John Sherman Jones Jr. died on 7 July 1944 at age 34.

     Ray Leon Jones was born on 4 June 1913. He was the son of John Sherman Jones and Easter Anne Rowe. Ray Leon Jones died on 6 October 1970 at age 57.

     James Stephen Toler was born on 1 December 1866. He was the son of Stephen Toler and Susan Wiley. James Stephen Toler married Martha Elizabeth Morris, daughter of Stephen Edward Morris and Elizabeth Ipock, on 13 November 1890 in Craven County, North Carolina.¹ James Stephen Toler died on 25 September 1954 at age 87. He was buried in Pine Tree Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Martha Elizabeth Morris was born on 25 March 1868 in Craven County, North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Stephen Edward Morris and Elizabeth Ipock. Martha Elizabeth Morris married James Stephen Toler, son of Stephen Toler and Susan Wiley, on 13 November 1890 in Craven County, North Carolina.² Martha Elizabeth Morris died on 14 January 1951 in Craven County, North Carolina, at age 82 . Her cause of death was listed as uremia.¹ She was buried on 15 January 1951 in Pine Tree Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.¹

     Machon Lincoln Toler was born on 20 September 1891. He was the son of James Stephen Toler and Martha Elizabeth Morris. Machon Lincoln Toler married Effie Ada Simpson, daughter of William Simpson and Nursie Paul, on 10 July 1910 Family Bible of Ada and Machon Toler give a marriage date of 12 June 1910. Machon Lincoln Toler died on 2 March 1963 at age 71 according to the Family Bible of Velma Patterson and his tombstone.¹ He died on 6 March 1963 at age 71. He was buried in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Abraham Warren Toler was born on 6 October 1893. He was the son of James Stephen Toler and Martha Elizabeth Morris. Abraham Warren Toler and Ulysses Grant Toler were arraigned before Justice of the Peace S.R. Street. on 21 March 1912 in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina. They were charged with disturbing a religious congregation at Friendship Church. The case was held over until 22 Mar 1912, but no further record can be found about the event.¹
Abraham Warren Toler married Cora Mae Lane on 21 December 1913 in Beaufort County, North Carolina. Abraham Warren Toler married Mary Jones on 9 June 1934 in Beaufort County, North Carolina.² Abraham Warren Toler died on 26 December 1957 at age 64. He was buried in Pine Tree Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Jesse Thomas Bennett was born on 15 March 1843 in Beaufort County, North Carolina. He was the son of Wiley Thomas Bennett and Sally Ann Ross. Jesse Thomas Bennett married Elizabeth Cox, daughter of Frederick Cox and Francis Tommason, on 23 January 1870. Jesse Thomas Bennett died on 4 March 1918 in Beaufort County, North Carolina, at age 74.

     Elizabeth Cox was born on 10 July 1848. She was the daughter of Frederick Cox and Francis Tommason. Elizabeth Cox married Jesse Thomas Bennett, son of Wiley Thomas Bennett and Sally Ann Ross, on 23 January 1870. Elizabeth Cox died on 8 November 1913 at age 65.

     Noah T. Bennett was born in 1871. He was the son of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Mary G. Bennett was born in 1872. She was the daughter of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Elenor Ida Bennett was born in 1874. She was the daughter of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Quentin Randolph Toler was born on 6 August 1918 in Caton, Craven County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joshua Allen Toler and Mary Martha Whitford. Quentin Randolph Toler was educated between 1930 and 1931 in Caton School, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina, and was promoted to the 7th grade by his 6th grade teacher, Ruth Hardison Atkinson. He began military service on 20 September 1940 in Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, He was transferred to Fort Benning, Georgia, where he qualified in the 502nd Parachute Battalion (Temporary) as a Parachutist in the United States Army on 18 Aug 1941. On 1 Apr 1942, he attained the rank of Corporal (actually a Technician Fourth Grade).

He departed for the Asia-Pacific Theater as a member of the 503rd Parachute Infantry, Company H, on 20 Oct 1942, participating in battles and campaigns at New Guinea, Southern Philippines, Papua, and Luzon. As a parachutist, he made parachute jumps in close proximity to enemy lines on Marcum Valley, New Guinea, Netherlands Indies, Corregidor, and the Philippine Islands. His mission was to establish communications with companies and batallions in order to more effectively destroy the enemy.

On 1 Jun 1944 he received his Combat Infantry Badge. He broke his leg on 16 Feb 1945 while jumping on Corregidor, for this action he received the Purple Heart on 21 May 1945. He returned to the United States on 27 Jul 1945.

Among the decorations and citations he received were the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Medal with 4 bronze service stars, the American Defense Service Medal, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 bronze service stars, and the Presidential Unit Citation Badge. He went AWOL for nine days in order to marry in May 1942. He married Doris Lee Stilley, daughter of Joshua Ivan Stilley and Penny Gray Toler, on 29 May 1942 in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina. Quentin Randolph Toler ended military service on 4 August 1945 in Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina. He died on 31 January 1960 in Small, Beaufort County, North Carolina, at age 41. He was buried in February 1960 in High Bridge Cemetery, Caton, Craven County, North Carolina.

     Sarah Annie Bennett was the daughter of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Fannie S. Bennett was the daughter of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Mack Bennett was the son of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Cleve Bennett was born in 1889. He was the son of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Henrietta Bennett was born in 1888. She was the daughter of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox.

     Augusta Bennett was born in 1888. She was the daughter of Jesse Thomas Bennett and Elizabeth Cox. Augusta Bennett died circa 1890.
