     Theodore Dunn was born on 14 August 1919. He was the son of Needham David Dunn and Sarah "Sallie" A. Gaskins. Theodore Dunn married Inez Reynolds, daughter of Leroy Reynolds and Matilda Howell.¹ Theodore Dunn died on 6 March 1993 in Washington, Beaufort County, North Carolina, at age 73.²

     Inez Reynolds was born on 2 October 1910 in Lenoir County, North Carolina.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Leroy Reynolds and Matilda Howell. Inez Reynolds married Theodore Dunn, son of Needham David Dunn and Sarah "Sallie" A. Gaskins.¹ Inez Reynolds died on 17 December 1989 in Washington, Beaufort County, North Carolina, at age 79.^1,2

     Gertrude Reynolds was the daughter of Leroy Reynolds and Matilda Howell. Gertrude Reynolds was born on 31 August 1912.¹ She married Cecil I. Dunn, son of Needham David Dunn and Sarah "Sallie" A. Gaskins, on 18 February 1939.¹ Gertrude Reynolds died on 10 September 1992 in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina.^1,2

     Norman Parish Slaughter was born on 20 April 1906 in Person County, North Carolina. He married Elva Irene Dunn, daughter of Needham David Dunn and Sarah "Sallie" A. Gaskins. Norman Parish Slaughter died on 22 July 2001 in Beaufort County, North Carolina, at age 95.

The 200 acres of land was part of a patent granted to David Dunn on 17 Apr 1745 and 7 Apr 1767 and given to Francis by the will of his father. The land was located on the south side of Little Swift Creek and joined the "Pamplico Road". It was purchased for £100 "current money."
