Logans and McCowns in Ulster in the 1660's

The hearth tax was a tax levied in Ulster on each hearth in a residence.  These taxes resulted in the Hearthmoney Rolls of the 1660's, giving a present-day researcher an idea of the heads of household in Ulster, Ireland at that time.
