Note the
result for Sam Mingia of Nth Carolina. Although not a project surname his
test matches with Fred, Ron, Arthur and Frank, ie with Wiltshire Vines.
See
Eureka.
Notes:
a) The figures in the row
marked ***** are modal values (commonest for the numbers of base
replicates at the markers indicated), obtained from the YBASE
publicly accessible database. Those marked in underlined red italics represent
the Atlantic Modal Haplogroup.
b) The two Vines tests 7356
and 8190, both of Australia with documented proof of pedigree to Nth Wiltshire,
matched 25/25, indicating a Most Recent Common Ancestor within about 400
years ago.
c) The two Vine tests 8108
and 8109, both of England, with documented proof of pedigree to Trowbridge,
Wiltshire, matched 25/25 but also matched 25/25 with the Vines tests 7356
and 8190. This indicates that despite the different name spelling, the
4 lines have come from a Most Common Recent Ancestor within about 400 years
ago.
d) The Vines test 7506 has
not yet matched with any others.
e)
Note - On May 19, 2003 FTDNA reassigned the values for 464a,b,c and d reducing
each by one. The above results include those changes.
f)
Vines tests 7808 (Arkansas) and 9405 (California) have matched with a single
mutation difference at Marker 449. They have a common ancestor in Nth Carolina
in late 1700s. See pedigrees. The Lipps test (kit 11070) has tested the
legend that Joe and Ed are descended from Johannes Lips whose widow married
a Vines. See Progress
20 Aug 03.
