The Will of David Vines of Reading
1838

This is the last will and testament of me David Vines of Reading in the county of Berks, gentleman.

I give and bequeath all my property both real and personal of which I may be possessed interested in or entitled unto at the time of my decease (after payment of my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses) unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Vines to so do the same and to the use of my said wife Elizabeth Vines her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever and I appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my will.

In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty ninth day of November one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight.

Proved at London the 6th February 1846 before the worshipful Alfred ??? Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Elizabeth Vines widow the Adirt? the sole executrix to whom admon was granted having been first sworn to duly administer.
 

This David Vines was the son of David Vines and Martha Patty Bushnell of Reading, born 15th June 1788, died 1st December 1845. He married Elizabeth Brown on 24th November 1832. David was the business partner and cousin of Uriah Vines the auctioneer of Newbury.
