In 1846 after his father and Benjamin died he migratedto Ontario Canada with the remaining members of the family,James, Charles his mother and his own wife and young children. He took up new land as an original farmer settler.
Apparently he remarried to Ruby Pangborn Hill in Canada in the late 1840s.
