Robert of Grittenham died 1676, buried at Tockenham. Will 1674. Wife Jone buried at Tockenham 1665.
Wife is named in will 1674 as Elizabeth.
Robert also mentions in his will his cousin John Wheeler and Hannah; the latter might have been his sister or half sister, daughter of Thomas.

[3]

Daniel of Dauntsey. Married Jane about 1686, sons born 1687 and 1689. He died 1689 aged more than 50 as he was named in the 1639 will. Will of 1689 provided only for Jane until boys reached age of 21, or earlier remarriage.
Apparently his farm was prosperous from the inventory.
The will mentions a house at Blackland and Thomas Vines Farm, Marriage Park.

[4]

Jane was considerably younger than Daniel. She did not remarry on his death but took up as housekeeper to Robert Lewis and bore him 5 children from 1695-03. Four of these were baptised as Vines.
Jane was buried as a Vines widow 1735.
