James married his cousin Margaret, daughter of Charles1722(inferred from Mary's will of 1810). He lived at Potterne, apparently as a farmer. The will of his mother Ann Henly Vinesof Malmesbury, clearly indicates in her will of 1816, when James was 58,that he had become handicapped in some way and she made a bequest to support him. Margaret shows as widow 1819 in Tytherton Moravian church records.

Tallow chandler and soap maker of Bristol, 1792-1847. He married Cecilia Dunn. After being widowed she lived with Marianne at Christs Hospital (school) in Hertford where she died of cholera, not long after.

Married Janes Thomas Hannum. Hewas apparently a school master at Christ's Hospital, Hertford, a famous old school not far from London.

William Reynolds Vines 1817-1897. Born at Bristol, married Jessie (Mrs) Perston at Guernsey, Channel Isles in 1848. He was living at Eagle House School, Hammerton , Hackney, London when his son Sydney was born 1849.

Came to Auckland at age of 73 in1890 and died there in 1897 aged 80.
