Jacob was born at Grittenham 1756.
He married his cousin Sarah Bryant at Bremhill 1786. After Sarah died, he married Lucy Hill in 1797. He had many leasehold and freehold estates in Somerset, Wilts and Gloucestershire and at time of his death in 1816 was living at Castle Combe.

Sarah married Rev. Richard Grimes 19th May 1812 in Grittleton. They lived in Yorkshire. Richard was a joint trustee and executor of Jacobs will.

He was baptised at East Tytherton, married Elizabeth Hewitt 1808 at Grittleton.

Sarah born 1759, was the daughter of Uriah Bryant and Joanna Henly, a much younger sister of John Henly, Ann Henly's (ie Jacobs mother) father.
She died about 1794.

Uriah Bryant Vineswas baptised at East Tytherton Moravian Church 12th May 1790. From the brevity and nature of his will it appears that he did not marry. He was an auctioneer at Newbury, Berks, near Reading. He was in business with his cousin David1785, son of James1758 of Potterne and his half-brother Joseph.
He died in 1842, as probate was declared in Feb 1843.

Edward was joint executor of his fathers will, which at time of Jacobs death in 1816, described him "of Mirfield in Yorkshire". He did not marry.

Twin of Joane. Married Elizabeth Gay at Littleton Drew in 1815.Lived at Whelford, near Fairford, close to Glos/Wilts border, north of Swindon.

Born 25-2-1798. Mentioned by Uriah in his 1838 will as his brother and attorney at law. Died 1874. He was married to Hannah (1794-1889).
He became a joint executor of Jacobs willat 21 in 1819.

Born 1831 at Whelford, north of Swindon, migrated to Vic, Australia as 19 year old, Settled at Branxholme, where he died 1883. Married Margaret Kirkwood 30th Jun 1856 at Geelong.

Mary Anne born 1800, died 1874. Married her cousin Uriah Evensis (1794-1863)
They had 6 children, all in Bath, Somerset and migrated to Australia after 1836, when their youngest was born. They settled in the Bathurst area.

David b1810 d1885 Schoolmaster . David had a boys' school in Bristol in the 1871 census. His sister Lucy was living with him. He did not marry. Very interestingly, his executor was John Sanderson Hollyer, married to Cecilia Vines, daughter of David's cousin, Benjamin Vines, [and Cecilia Dunn].

Maria b1813 d1885 Schoolmistress. Maria had her own small girls' school also in Bristol in the 1871 census. She also did not marry, and she had an unusual executor , Benjamin Champion Vines, Accountant, son of her cousin Jabez Vines [and Elizabeth Champion].

Lucy b1814 d1882. She apparently kept house for David and Maria when they all retired and she did not marry either. Her executor was her sister Maria.
