Henry Jeckell Kendrick Vines, medico, suffered from severe asthma and moved several times seeking an appropriate climate, Canary Is., Brighton Uk. Went to OZ about 1893 looking for his runaway son Cecil. Registered to practise medicine inTasmania, NSW. Was Govt. Medical Officer at Broome WA 1898 to 1900, before returning to England.
Only 3 sons married and none of his daughters.
