[2]
Edward married Ann Henly in 1756. He was mentioned in Benjamins will 1763 as receiving, with brother William, his fathers leases at Hook.
All his children were baptised at Brinkworth. He must have moved to Reading in later life as all his family seemed to have lived there at some time.
The family members were well educated, which showed in their success at business.
[3]
Jacob married Sarah Bryant in the Moravian faith in 1786. After Sarahs death he married Lucy Hill. He held many leasehold and freehold estates. He lived at Castle Combe.
[4]
Ann died at Malmesbury in 1816. Her will mentions most of family.
[5]
James married his cousin Margaret, daughter of Charles1722(inferred from Mary's will of 1810). He lived at Potterne, apparently as a farmer. The will of his mother Ann Henly Vinesof Malmesbury, clearly indicates in her will of 1816, when James was 58,that he had become handicapped in some way and she made a bequest to support him.
[6]
David married Martha Patty Bushnell at Reading in 1784. They lived at Grovelands Farm at Tilehurst near Reading, but about 1805, after all children were born, moved to Battle Farm closer to Reading. He had sustantial income from the farm, investments and a cheesemongery business. His children were well educated. His will 1828 is heavily concerned with his youngest daughter Ann who married against his wishes.
[7]
Edward was also a solicitor in Reading. He seems to have had business concerns with several of his brothers and cousins, see his will of 1840. He had two children.
[8]
Benjamin married Elizabeth Worcester in 1795. (The 1816 will of his mother Ann Henlywas witnessed by two Worcester ladies at Malmesbury.) They had two children Samuel1796, (mentioned in Anns will of 1816) and Elizabeth1797, baptised at Tytherton.
Elizabeth did not remarry and died at Malmesbury, leaving her estate to Samuel.
[9]
Mary married Jacob Vizard of Dauntsey in 1793. She was given a special bequest in the 1816 will of her mother Ann Henly of Malmesbury, probably as recompense for care in her old age.
[10]
Ann married Samuel Millard in 1797 and lived in Bristol, where their children were baptised at the Upper Maudlin Street Moravian Church. Samuel was the son of Elizabeth1731 Vines and Henry Millard.
