This Benjamin's wife Cecilia made a bequest to "Ann Vines Spinster now residing at the Moravian Sisters house situate at East Tytherton" in her 1848 will. Benjamin1769s brother Edward1767 in his 1840 will mentions "my only surviving sister Ann Millard" who married in 1797 so this is not Benjamin1769.
Edward1767 also mentions "my nephew, Jacob Vines, son of my brother James."
The family of James1758 included:

  • James 1781            at Brinkworth
  • Benjamin 1783       at Potterne
  • David 1785             at Potterne
  • Jacob 1787             at Potterne
  • Ann 1789                at Potterne
  • Benjamin 1792       at Brinkworth
  • Jesse 1795             at Brinkworth
  • Anna Bethia 1798   at Brinkworth
It is concluded that Benjamin of Bristol was the son of James1758 and Margaret Vines, (daughter of Charles1722) born 1792, who married Cecilia Dunn at Clifton, Bristol in 1814.
