He worked as a broom maker, laborer, and basket maker, then a carpenter. He lived in Moorhead, Indiana, for some time in the early 1880's, then returned to Northampton. The author of the Laspron dit lacharite web site says that "popular legend also suggests that Oliver was a tumbler and worked on the high wire as part of a circus act".
He lived in Hatfield, Massacusetts, at some point, possibly from 7 Jan 1871 to 12 Nov 1897, when he died, according to the Laspron dit Lacharite database. Unclear if he moved to Northampton or if his widow made that move by 1900.
The spelling of his name varied a great deal. Lemprond, Lempson, Lampara, Lambrand, Lampson, Lampreau.
His death record says he died of bright's disease, which means kidney disease, and is a common complication of diabetes. Author of the Laspron dit lacharite web site says he had brights disease but died of consumption. He was only 47, according to his death certificate.
He married twice.

Oliver Lampron is listed in some earlier Northampton city directories, from 1882-3 to 1893-4.
Mrs. Oliver Lampron is listed from 1898. In 1913 Oliver Lampron bds 85 Market, Alfred Lampron emp WAR ltd h 85 Market, and Mrs. Oliver Lampron h 56 Hawley. In 1914 Alfred rem to Hadley, Mrs. Oliver Lampron is listed at h 85 Market. She is listed as Mrs. Oliver up through 1916, then is listed as Julienne wid Oliver starting in 1917.
Later Alfred A lived at 85 Market, and then one of his children, and Ella in 1953.

St. Mary's Cemetery. there are no names on the stone but the paperwork (a small yellow index card to be exact, lists Ella lampron, 79, 5/23/70, Crypt; Emilda Lampron, 62, 4/11/53. Crypt; Julienne, 90, 3/19/51, moved hers, 10/10/51, box; Oheline (Misspelled), Lampron, 55, 2/2/51, box. Hand written at the bottom of the card is a notation reading "also in this lot, Oliver Lampron, age 47, Nov. 14, 18??.
The lot is 5E, Range 1, Section M. in the name of Ella Lampron Lot. It was owned by Mrs. EvaL. Pelkey, 3 Pierpoint Ave., rutland, Vt.05701. It has perpetual care, was paid in full $190 on November 5, 1970.
