She and husband shoemaker Francois-Banliac dit Lamountagne were the ancestors of the Bayard d'Amerique families. They were a pioneer family at the Maneuruil River (Louisville). Madeleine died following the birth of her first child, and Francois married Marie-Angelique Pelletier dit Antaya in a second marriage.
