Alfred A. LAMPRON
- Born: 11 Jan 1877, Northampton, Massachusetts
- Marriage: Delphine BOUCHARD on 6 Sep 1898 in Northampton, Massachusetts
Alfred's marriage record in 1898 cited him as living in Hatfield. They lived at 85 Market St. in 1910, and he cannot be found in the census in 1900.
85 Market St., according to the city tax assessor's online database, was built in 1901, is in poor condition, and contains one one bedroom apartment and three two bedroom apartments. A sort of floor plan is provided, and it is not clear whether it was originally a multi-unit home, nor if it has more than one storey. There is a reference to deed book 4620 and deed page 207. The lot number is 32A-021-001.
Despite the long tenure of this family at this address, it does not look as though they owned it. The Hampshire County Register of Deeds online database goes back to 1980, and contains a deed dated June 29, 1984 - either Deed book 2630, p 91, or book 02469, p. 71. This deed records the sale of the property at 85 Market St and its buildings thereon by the surviving joint owner, Alcide H. Bernier, to three individuals. The deed references the deed, Book 1453, p 212, by which Aldea A. Bernier sold the property to Alcide H. Bernier. Tehre is a note that this Aldea A. Bernier died on Feb 22, 1966.
This is teh Alfred Lampron, millwright, at 85 Market in 1920 Northampton directory. In the 1953 directory, Delphine, widow Alfred A., lived there.
A child of his and his wife lived there after that, and Mildred lived there with her husband at his death in 1956.

An Edmund Lampron was born in Northampton in 1906, birth record not available online. His twin was Hector.
That means that Edmund's age above was garbled; he was 3, like Hector, and not 8. They were the sons of Alfred A.
I suspect this is the Edmund Lampron below.
Edmond J. Jampron, age 40, died 23 Apr 1946. Obit.
