Nicolas BELANGER

Nicolas BELLANGER (1632-1682), another native of Touques, (without known relations with the former) came to Beauport in 1655. He is only 19 years old. His occupation is that of cod fisherman. He married, on the 11th of july 1660, Marie De Rainville. They got 12 children and it became the biggest Norman family in Canada. To day the house of Nicolas Bellanger, in the historical site, is still visible
