Daniel LEBLANC

Daniel LeBlanc, a 45 year old ploughman was registered at Port Royal in 1671. He probably arrived in Acadia prior to 1650.

Occupation: Husbandman Note: Came to Acadia abt. 1645; settled at Port Royal. Had 18 horned cattle, 26sheep, 10 arpents of tilled land in to places.

Daniel married Marie Francoise GAUDET, daughter of Jean GAUDET (GODET) and Marie FRancoise D'Ayssy MERCIER, about 1657 in Port Royal, Richmond, Acadie. (Marie Francoise GAUDET was born in 1623 in Martaize, Loudun, Poitou, Vienne, France and died in 1698 in Port Royal, Richmond, Acadie.)
