I moved my Lowe Snippets to my Lowe database at Rootsweb World Connect..  They now live in a single database.

First the three brothers who fought under Cromwell and then settled in County Westmeath, two of them having been given large grants of land.   Everything I know about them, which in the case of George and Thomas, and Ebenezer the grandson of William who was disinherited, is not all that much.    All later Lowes of southern County Westmeath and the northern tip of Kings/ Offaly County are descended from one or more of them.

Nathaniel Lowe of Lowville, Co Galway.

James born about 1712 who had land immediately south of Moate along the county line.

Includes (George) Samuel, may be who lived at Annaghgortagh in Griffiths Evaluation,

John Lowe of Ballycahillroe in Griffiths Evaluation.   Samuel Lowe of Ballyscarvan in Griffiths was either his brother or his son.

Robert Lowe of Lurgan and Cornaher.   Must have been closely related to the above as his land was adjacent to theirs, but does not fit in the place he was inserted on Isabelle Lowe Nash's chart.

John Hayes Lowe of the Clara area.

The Thomas Lowes of Bear Creek, Canada; one of these was a son of Robert Lowe of Lurgan and Cornaher, and the other was most likely closely related.

and other Lowe family groupings.   Unfortunately one has to find them in the general index.
