Hicks Family Cemetery Plot
Chico City Cemetery, Butte Co. California
This Cement Wall Originally had round cement Balls on each corner,
which have been broken and removed.
Where the entrance is the name - "HICKS" is written in the cement, but is
hard to read.
The New Stone is about 4 feet tall, placed and cemented. The new Granit
Veteran Stone Marker rises nicely above the cement wall. There is a
orange circle marker, placed on the inside the cement wall behind the stone,
marking that the person buried here is a Veteran of the United
States.
These were Hilyard Hicks Old Markers,
We were told by the cemetery, that the round marker was the first stone
placed,
with the rectangle marker placed by the cemetery later.
