Located on the 2nd floor of the 1907 public library, the museum's collections include primitive American portraits of leading citizens of Barre. There are also photographs, models, and tool collections documenting the granite industry, as well as items relating to ethnic groups that settled the area. Contact Person: Karen Lane, Librarian. Hours and Admission: Mon and Fri, Noon 5pm; Thurs, 10am 5pm; Sat, 10am 4pm (summer: Sat, 10am 1pm), and by appointment. Free. Not accessible to the disabled.
