Will - Sanger, W.Va. March 2, 1929
I G B Cantley, being of sound and disposing mind do hereby make and declare this my last Will and Testament.
1. I bequeath that all my just debts shall be paid before any distribution is made, except that my accounts receivable shall be placed in the hands of my son J R Cantley, which shall be used to cover my funeral expenses and to place a tombstone at my grave and also at the grave of my deceased wife. My personal property shall be used first to cover any debts.
2. After all debts and expenses are paid I bequeath that all my personal property then remaining together with the Home Place at Sanger; the lot near the Thumond cemetery; the real estate located in Raleigh County and that certain lot known as Lot #9 in Charleston, Kanawha County be equally divided between my four children, namely; J R Cantley, Wayman Cantley, Dora Smith and Wennie Wykle.
3. To my daughter Viola Davis I bequeath Lot #8 in Charleston, Kanawha Co. W.Va.
4. Of the children of my children Nora Biggs, Oley Cantley, and Loatis Cantley I hereby will and bequeath one dollar each.
5. My home stead and personal property is now subject to a lease made to my son J Reed Cantley.
6. I hereby appoint Dock Hamilton of Sanger to act as the executor of this my will and that he shall give bond in an amount sufficient to cover all personal property. Given under my hand this second day of March 1929. G B Cantley [his mark]

We the attesting witnesses do hereby certify that each of us witnessed the making of "his mark" in the above signature which was made for his signature and that each of us signed as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other.
