oSolomon died sometime in 1876 or thereabouts
oThe said Solomon left surviving him the following devisees and legatees, who together with the plantiff are the only persons interested in the estate - Alexander Seymore > Silla intermarried with Horace Nunn > Sara intermarried with W. B. Harris > Lydia intermarried with John Allen Harris > and Joseph Seymore - All are over 21 years of age, and residents of Chatham
·At the time of his death Solomon owened a certain tract of land on the waters of Deep River adjoining the lands of Wm. G. Harris, the Gorgas land and others, containing 235 acres more or less
·In Aug of 1880 Lydia is listed as a Seymore, and not a Harris until 1882

Question?: Solomon never referred to Sarrah Harris, Lydia Seymore, Drusilla Nunn or Alex Seymore as his children. However, they must have been. He refers to Geo. W. Seymore as his friend and appt. him the executor - but George refers to Sarah, Lydia, Drusilla and Alex as his sisters and brother. He also refers to a sister named Ann Womble - who also inherited in Alex's estate. She must have the same mother as the others, but not the same father?
